Ne’Chelle Straughter (KASPVR) is an interdisciplinary artist who investigates the psychology of emotive responses to darkness and mystery by using her creative practice as a form of expression and cognitive research. Her work confronts her past struggles with articulating the cause of her captivation to the tenebrous subject matter. Ne’Chelle uses abstraction to allow the viewer to question the work and have a unique experience alike to her own.
