Kathleen Larraz’s work focuses on her experience and trauma healing. In her latest work, she takes back her narrative after decades of victim-blaming. Through oil painting, she sublimates the horrific experience of being groomed as a child on the internet and the raw negative emotions that came from it, transmuting them into something that transcends her trauma and lets other survivors know that they are not alone and are not to blame and there is always hope.
